After 3 years, ESN Breda is planning the largest gala of the year in Breda. Expect to have tons of fun throughout the night as well as stand the chance to win some prizes! There will be tons of interactive activities such as Speed (Friend)Dating, boules, minigolf, and so much more!
DRESS CODE
Very Formal (dress to impress). Think suit and tie!
PARKING
We strongly recommend you to come by bike or by foot as there is limited space for parking. Free parking is available at STRND, however, ESN Breda nor our partners or STRND will be liable for any damages incurred.

After 3 years, the traditional ESN Breda gala is coming back in strength and headed to be the largest student gala of the year in Breda. You can expect tons of great music, activities, and hundreds of people dressed to impress.
For this year's gala edition, you must bring a masquerade mask and dress formal. Think of a black tie events and prom nights.

PARKING & Accessibility
The waltz is a ballroom dance in which a couple turns rhythmically around the dance floor using the waltz box step. After the winners of the Royal Contest are crowned, they will be invited to kickstart the Waltz dance at the sound of live music and later joined by the remaining participants of the gala.
The venue is accessible by bike, foot, or car. Free parking is available at STRND, however, we recommend you to go by bike or by foot as parking space is limited.
The venue is located on the ground floor and accessible to people with disabilities including those on a wheelchair.
At the venue you will be able to buy food from 8:00 PM and drinks will be available at the bar from opening to closure.
On the premises, you will have fun activities to participate with your friends as well as meeting new ones. These activities will be organised both by some of our partners as well as ESN Breda.

Rules
General

Indecent behaviour or visibly inebriated guest will be escorted out of the venue.

Underage guest will receive an identifying bracelet and are not allowed to buy any alcoholic drinks. Non-compliant guests will be suspended from the event and potentially blacklisted from all future ESN Breda events.

After doors are closed, you are no longer allowed to enter the venue.

Refunds for this event are only possible until 15 days after purchase of the ticket.
Entrance

You are not allowed to bring drinks, food, or any other objects deemed dangerous by security inside the premises.

Entrance will be restricted to guest who do not comply with the dress code, behave inadequately, or are visibly inebriated.

Entrance will be restricted to guest who do not show a valid proof of ID and/or ticket. Guests with tickets with student discount are additionally required to show a valid student card matching school illegible for the discount.
Tickets & student discount
Ticket sales are done in 3 phases. Tickets range from €17,50 to €25. However, students from our sponsor universities get a €10 discount on their tickets.

The Royal Contest
ABOUT
The Royal Contest gives you the opportunity to win the crown and a special prize together with the special someone that you're taking to the gala. Winners of the contest will be announced during the gala and will receive their prize, crowns, and be invited to kickstart the Waltz dance session.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Think of prom night, think of creative, think of Royal. Make a creative and memorable video of you inviting your special someone to the gala. Then, submit your video to us before the submission deadline.
SELECTION PROCESS
Once the submissions closes, we will gather all the responses and prepare an online vote through the ESN Breda Instagram page. On the day of the gala from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, we open the votes and let the public decide on the best video. The video with the most votes will win the contest.
