  • Leadership and Oversight over the organisation’s operations

  • The main contact person between ESN Breda and Stakeholders

  • Chairs meetings, ensure effective communication and facilitates decision-making

  • Long-Term Perspective: Aligns short-term actions with a strategic long-term vision.

  • External Representation: Acts as the face of ESN Breda to external stakeholders locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • Commitment to Enhancement: Focuses on improving the organisation for the benefit of students.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contributes to the construction of evaluation reports, emphasising continuous improvement.

Vice President

  • ESNcard Sales and Invoicing: Handles ESNcard sales and coordinates the sending of invoices.

  • Budget Oversight: Takes charge of budget oversight for comprehensive financial management.

  • Regular Board Communication: Ensures regular communication with the board to keep everyone informed.

  • Budgeting and Accounting: Encompasses responsibilities related to budgeting, accounting, and overall financial oversight within ESN Breda

Integration Manager

"Providing services and events that give comfort and security to incoming students in transitioning into their new life in Breda."

Responsibilities

  • Key Tasks: Organizes Airport and key Pick-up Service, coordinates the Buddy Program, and facilitates exclusive cultural events for the Buddy Program for each semester.

  • Buddy Events: Leads the Integration Committee in planning intimate and fun Buddy Events to build connections between local and incoming students/buddies.

  • Introduction Days Participation: Contributes to Avans University and Breda University of Applied Sciences Introduction days by engaging in various activities,  organises a city tour and information market for ESN Breda.

  • Cultural understanding: being knowledgeable and eager to learn about other cultures to provide meaningful services for the students.

  • Exclusive Members Community: Engages with the Buddy Program Community on a personal level while overseeing the Buddy Program system

Events Manager

"Ensuring that the events executed by ESN Breda are of good quality and in line with the ESN International causes and the University's needs. Preparing the events to foster international community and quality entertainment of the attendees."

Responsibilities

  • Committee Oversight: Train and support the Event Committee to ensure the quality of events that align with board goals.

  • Committee Leadership: Leads committee meetings, fostering a positive atmosphere through emotional rounds and event discussions.

  • Activity Calendar and Budgeting: Develop a diverse, balanced and attractive activity calendar and budget, seeking board and CoA approval.

  • Managerial Responsibilities: Approves manuals and event ideas, selects event venues, and develops budgets.

Sales Manager

  • Partnership Management: Establishes and maintains relationships with commercial partners and NGOs, ensuring continual engagement.

  • Business Development: Explores and pursues new partnership opportunities, negotiating deals and contracts to drive growth and expansion of collaborations.

  • Initiative and Flexibility: Empowered with flexibility and freedom to drive collaboration initiatives, both locally and on a broader scale.

  • Communication: Collaborating with the Marketing and Events departments to boost partnerships, showcase community benefits, and actively involve partners in planned activities and events.

Marketing Manager

The Integration Committee is responsible for executing  tasks related to events held by the Integration department. You will work alongside the Integration Team Lead and will  be supervised by the Integration Manager.

Sales Committee Member

The position

Within the team we divide our partners, so that every committee member is responsible for a certain number of local partners. This responsibility includes regularly checking up on the partners, and in case it’s needed renewing the contract or changing details in it. After checking in on all the partners at least once, the focus switches to finding & contacting new potential partners. At this point the committee members should be able to present ESN Breda towards the potential partner and have the responsibility to follow up with the communication with them.

  • Renewing and updating contracts. 

  • Recruiting new potential partners. 

  • Represent ESN Breda.
