About ESN
ESN (Erasmus Student Network) is a non-profit international student organization. Our mission
is to represent and support international students. We want to make your stay the best time in
your life and this is why we provide a nice environment suitable for creating memories, having
fun and even more to it – creating friendships and connecting with people from all around the

What happened during the Members Training Day?
On October 1st, 2022 we had our first MBT (Members Training Day) of this academic year. It
was created with the purpose to have a welcoming introduction and team building for all our
new and not-so-new members and volunteers. We kicked it off with a brief introduction, accompanied by interactive games and nice conversations. We encouraged our volunteers and
members to get to know each other and receive more insights about what each committee’s
tasks are and the projects that we are all already looking forward to and cannot wait to share
with you!
What happened during our General Meeting?
The General Meeting was held by our Vice President and intended to give updates and an
overview of the upcoming months. The meeting was followed by a nice and cosy dinner at one
of our partners’ café Sam Sam, located in the heart of Breda where all our current board members, coordinators and volunteers gathered together. Safe to say, it was a time well spent
because we managed to combine the fun part with the professional side of what we do. We
have all expanded our connections and contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. Thus, we
might have taken several photos which you can check out on our social media platforms and
website.
What can you expect in the following months?
Exciting news! Okay, we get that perhaps you would like to receive more information, so we
would like to tease you with some bits of it. Keep your eyes open for upcoming posters around
the two campuses and on our social media platforms because something big is coming already
this November!
To add, as you might already know or not, we won’t blame you, ESN gives you access to many
discounts. We are working on expanding our partners so that we can give you the best and also
accessible experience as an international student. Whether that will be a free toast at Happy
Tosti, or you want to go on that spontaneous weekend trip to Italy with RyanAir or Flixbus, we
got you covered! Did we also mention the free cocktails at Bobby’s Boat, dance classes at Latin
Dance and discounted gym memberships at BRESS? Yes, all that in one ESN card, it’s cool,
isn’t it?
